Come to Lounge MELT to relax and chat in English, Chinese, or another foreign language. There are comfy sofas, hot drinks, and friendly faces. The lounge has an "English, Chinese or Other Foreign Language Only" language policy. It's a great place to meet students who are interested in using and developing their language skills.
MELT Annex, next to Lounge MELT, is a quieter area for focused language study, and advising. You can use Japanese for study talk there.
All students and faculty are welcome. The Learning Advisers and the Volunteer Student Staff who work in the lounge are happy to show you around.
